We make up the EYFS team and will be happy to discuss anything with you.
Our Preschool Room
The Preschool day starts at 9:00am.We ask that parents come through the wooden side gate through the EYFS outside area and wait under the shelter until the door is opened.
Each child is given a named school bag and water bottle, when they start. Please ensure that your child brings these to every session.
A healthy snack of fruit and milk is provided in the morning session.
A morning session finishes at 12:15pm; again you can pick your child up via the side gates.
At lunchtime your child can have a school dinner at the cost of £3.83 (including care – lunchtime care is £1.13) (There will be a price increase to £4.02 with effect from Monday 27th February 2023).
They can choose on a morning what they would like from the dinner menu by placing their name card next to the choices, or your child can bring a packed lunch (there is still a charge of £1.13 for lunchtime care)
An afternoon session starts at 12:15pm and finishes at 3:30pm; the side gate is opened at 3:30pm picking up via coming to the shelter and waiting outside. We ask that you try to stick to the dropping off and collecting times to help sessions run smoothly.
Please could you provide a bag of spare clothes which can be left on their peg for any little accidents. The children do take part in PE sessions and we encourage them to get changed.Could we have a bag with short, t-shirt and plimsoles – only if they are in on the PE sessions.
We encourage the school uniform in the Pre-school setting. Please find enclosed in the packs more information about the uniforms and providers.
You are able to add additional sessions to your child’s free 15 hours entitlement however these are charged as follows:- half session £13.50, whole day including lunch £30.83 (to increase to £31.02 from 27.02.2023).Extra sessions are bookable through the office. Your child maybe eligible for the 30hrs – for this you need to do this independently through the government website. If you are they will give you a code, which school will need.
If you have any queries as always feel free to ask any of the EYFS team, or give the office a call.
